Please look up in trees and under buildings/houses with broken or missing foundation vent covers, inside of closed garages, and up on your roof. Cats, when frightened, can get into many places where they can't get out of by themselves. Ask all your neighbors to check these places on their property, too. Never put food nor a cats litter box outside. Both attract wild animals that may harm (or worse) your cat. Go door to door in your neighborhood with photos of your cat. Post photos inside of grocery and pet supply stores. Go in person to the local animal shelters to search for your cat. The nice people that answer their phones will not know about all the cats dropped off or brought in by animal control. Call all veterinary offices near you to check if anyone has brought your cat in to be scanned for a microchip or treated for an injury. Ask them to keep a lookout for your cat. Cats don't generally go too far from home unless chased. Try putting some of your unwashed clothing outside near your door. This has helped confused cats find their way back home.
