Diego Male Cat
LOST PET ID: 71246054
Wake County, NC 27603
Diego is my cat in the picture. He looks small but if he’s still around he would be a bit bigger by now. He is also very long and his eyes are like an orange brown. He is vaccinated but has no collar or chip. He is an indoor cat and is very friendly.

Abra the Cat Male Cat
LOST PET ID: 69590117
Chapel Hill, NC 27517
Abra is a totally black feral cat who rarely left my property, always showed up for meals, and always came when called. He has basically disappeared. He is fearful of people he does not know, and has a very tiny meow. There are no coyotes in our neighborhood, but perhaps he found an old buddy and went off with it. He knows how to travel through the storm drains, and so could be some distance away. And, I suspect he could be easily trapped as he loves food of just about any kind. January 26, 2024: Still looking for him. It is unlikely he would show himself unless he is desperate. He is microchipped. February 18, 2024: Abra has still not reappeared. July , 2024: Still looking. If someone has him, I would just like to know. There is no evidence that he is deceased. He is a bit gullible and definitely a follower. He is microchipped. It’s been a year and I am still looking for him. He was feral and has some street smarts so could still be out there.

Take advantage of online platforms – they help you get the word out, quickly and easily. You can report your lost pet to PawBoost in no time flat. We’ll send an email alert to our local members, post to the PawBoost-powered Facebook page for your area, add your pet to our lost & found, and make a lost pet flyer – all for free.
Other sites that help you raise local awareness for your lost pet with minimal time and effort are Nextdoor.com – a PawBoost partner – and Craigslist. Both of these sites have very active lost & found sections mainly used for lost pets. We highly recommend you use these resources in addition to PawBoost!
Visit your local shelters and animal control agencies in person. Details can get lost in translation over the phone and that might lead to missed connection.
If chipped, make sure your pet’s microchip is registered and up to date. If you don’t know your pet’s chip manufacturer or number, your vet should be able to help locate this information.
Put up flyers and tell your neighbors to be on the lookout. The more you engage the community, the better your chances of a happy reunion!
