#REUNITED - Sky is back home! 🐾❤️😺 Four days after Sky disappeared, we found him late at night, scared and sitting near the front door as we were coming home. We had put his owner’s worn shirt outside, hoping the familiar scent would help him find his way back. At first, Sky got scared and ran away again - not again! 🙈 But then my husband spotted him across the street, hiding under a neighbor’s car. He wouldn’t come to any of us, but his owner came outside, gently talked to him, and Sky finally relaxed and let himself be carried home. ❤️ I can’t thank everyone enough for all the advice, comments, reactions, and encouragement! Sky was the favorite cat of our dear friend, his owner’s late wife, so we were all devastated when he disappeared. HappyCatLady’s advice helped us so much - we put out wet food and worn clothes and called for Sky late at night, at 3 a.m., and early in the morning - thank you so so much for what you do 🙏❤️🙏 The July 4th fireworks certainly didn’t help! 🙈 After posting on PawBoost, as HappyCatLady had warned us, immediately encountered a scammer. Thankfully, when we asked for a photo, they sent us a picture of a cat who looked nothing like Sky 😂, so no money was sent and no harm was done. (Watch out for - they sent a private message) All is well now, and Sky is safely home. ❤️ I pray and hope that everyone still searching for a missing cat will be reunited with them very, very soon. 🙏❤️😺 Thank you again, everyone, from the bottom of our hearts and especially HappyCatLady 🙏❤️🐾
