Want to thank everyone who chimed in with advice. Before going to bed for the evening I decided to do outside and once again whistle and call his name. Lo and behold I heard a loud meow and he came running as fast as I’ve ever seen him run, into my arms. He’s freaked out and as been in the garage attic all Last night and all day today. He came Out once or twice and has gone back into the garage. It’s not air conditioned and I worried but just now he came back and is resting in the Master bedroom with ac and some very gentle music. He’s purring so I’m taking that as starting to heal from whatever he got himself into.
