Sunshine Female Cat

LOST PET ID: 70151402

Honolulu, HI 96822

Lost 14 yo female cat, spayed. Has been missing since 03/24 in the afternoon. She has never been gone for more than a night. Makiki heights (mottsmith st/pililani Pl), Honolulu, Oahu. Sunshine is about 9 lbs, friendly, has a grey, dark grey, brown coat, with a hanging belly, a small notch on her right ear she got from a fight with a feral cat and some cloudy spots (due to fire ants) in her yellow/greenish eyes. I rescued her when she was a few months old on the Big Island. After living on two islands and 4 s, it is the first time she has not come . I'm devastated. Please let me know if you think you have seen her anywhere on island. 🙏🙏🙏 I looked everywhere in my neighborhood, left one of my clothing outside (she is very attached to me), placed food, couldn't put the litter box as we clean it daily because we have other cats, have been searching mornings, afternoons and evening while calling her name and looking everywhere in case she is injured... Any idea/tip is welcome. I also sent a lost cat report to the Humane Society. Mahalo

Frequently Asked Questions

I lost my pet. What should I do?

Take advantage of online platforms – they help you get the word out, quickly and easily. You can report your lost pet to PawBoost in no time flat. We’ll send an email alert to our local members, post to the PawBoost-powered Facebook page for your area, add your pet to our lost & found, and make a lost pet flyer – all for free.

Other sites that help you raise local awareness for your lost pet with minimal time and effort are Nextdoor.com – a PawBoost partner – and Craigslist. Both of these sites have very active lost & found sections mainly used for lost pets. We highly recommend you use these resources in addition to PawBoost!

Visit your local shelters and animal control agencies in person. Details can get lost in translation over the phone and that might lead to missed connection.

If chipped, make sure your pet’s microchip is registered and up to date. If you don’t know your pet’s chip manufacturer or number, your vet should be able to help locate this information.

Put up flyers and tell your neighbors to be on the lookout. The more you engage the Honolulu community, the better your chances of a happy reunion!
