Reported 4 months ago, updated 7 hours ago

Allen Male Cat

LOST PET ID: 69832585

Kannapolis, NC 28081

Allen was last seen on 12/1 after a dog chased him away from our . If you live in the area and happen to see an orange, long haired, tabby, please reach out to me! He has frequented the Dollar General on Main St. in Kannapolis in the past so we are worried that someone scooped him up thinking he was a stray. Allen is an orange tabby with long fur. He does have white on his paws, chest, and belly. He has a shorter than normal tail due to a previous injury. He cannot move his tail. He is approximately 12lbs, is chipped, and neutered. He is very friendly and will likely approach if you have food.

Frequently Asked Questions

I lost my pet. What should I do?

Take advantage of online platforms – they help you get the word out, quickly and easily. You can report your lost pet to PawBoost in no time flat. We’ll send an email alert to our local members, post to the PawBoost-powered Facebook page for your area, add your pet to our lost & found, and make a lost pet flyer – all for free.

Other sites that help you raise local awareness for your lost pet with minimal time and effort are Nextdoor.com – a PawBoost partner – and Craigslist. Both of these sites have very active lost & found sections mainly used for lost pets. We highly recommend you use these resources in addition to PawBoost!

Visit your local shelters and animal control agencies in person. Details can get lost in translation over the phone and that might lead to missed connection.

If chipped, make sure your pet’s microchip is registered and up to date. If you don’t know your pet’s chip manufacturer or number, your vet should be able to help locate this information.

Put up flyers and tell your neighbors to be on the lookout. The more you engage the Charlotte community, the better your chances of a happy reunion!
