Ruby Female Dog

LOST PawBoost ID: 73199085

Midlothian, TX 76065

Honey brown, 35lbs, hound mix and very shy and scared- doesn’t bark and won’t go to you so sightings with the area seen is best to help us locate her Additional Info: Ruby is chipped, but linked to the SPCA still and they are aware she’s lost so will contact me if anyone calls due to her being scanned. Please do NOT chase her, as she is extremely shy from past abuse she was rescued from so she won’t go to anyone she doesn’t know. Just take a picture and add the location where she was seen, so I can verify it’s her and then go to the area the pic was taken. Thx for all the help, and I’m praying we find her soon to get her back home safe and out of this heat.

Frequently Asked Questions

I lost my dog. What should I do?

Take advantage of online platforms – they help you get the word out, quickly and easily. You can report your lost dog to PawBoost in no time flat. We'll send an email alert to our local members, post to the PawBoost-powered Facebook page for your area, add your dog to our lost & found, and make a lost dog flyer – all for free.

Other sites that help you raise local awareness for your lost dog with minimal time and effort are Nextdoor.com – a PawBoost partner – and Craigslist. Both of these sites have very active lost & found sections mainly used for lost pets. We highly recommend you use these resources in addition to PawBoost!

Visit your local shelters and animal control agencies in person. Details can get lost in translation over the phone and that might lead to missed connection.

If chipped, make sure your dog's microchip is registered and up to date. If you don't know your pet's chip manufacturer or number, your vet should be able to help locate this information.

Put up flyers and tell your neighbors to be on the lookout. The more you engage the Irving community, the better your chances of a happy reunion!
