Joker Male Cat

LOST PET ID: 70005697

Bryan, TX 77802

I pray the information I got was not accurate and if you see a cat you think is him, please contact us but: Update 02/18: I got a call today that I didn't want to get. It seems someone who was familiar with Joker and described him perfectly said he was run over and didn't survive about two weeks ago. The description, the area, and the timing are all appropriate. She initially did not know who he belonged to until she saw the neighborhood flyers. Animal Control wasn't called so there was no scan and I was not notified. Unfortunately, she thinks he was intentionally run down by someone who has been beefing with the neighbors near where he was killed (He wasn't even their cat). Joker walked the curb and edges of the yards and was run over at the entrance to a driveway by someone who didn't use that particular driveway. I'm not sure how someone can, at minimum, not be paying attention and run over a cat who was an outdoor cat that had survived 4 years in the neighborhood. If it were negligence, it could have been a kid or other pedestrian or cyclist. I'm even more baffled that someone would be so cruel as to intentionally try to kill an animal that wouldn't cause any harm to anyone, so I hope that was not the case either. We'll miss him dearly and were blessed to have him in our lives. He was an awesome addition to our family. He policed the neighborhood and protected the smaller neighborhood cats from the raccoons and foxes. He kept the rodents away from damaging our property. He always greeted guests and spent quality time with several of our neighbors, including some of whom have recently past on. I'm sure they will be hanging out in heaven until we meet again. I want to thank everyone who helped with his search. -Mikel Stephens Joker is missing. He has a few white hairs on his chest that are easy to miss unless you look closely, and a small scar on his front left arm. We miss him dearly and want him to return. He is chipped.

Put up flyers and tell your neighbors to be on the lookout. The more you engage the community, the better your chances of a happy reunion!
