Sunny Souza Male Cat

LOST PET ID: 70283300

Jacksonville, NC 28540

Male, fixed, chipped, fat, full of golden hair, friendly. My granddaughter has had Sunny since he was very small. My daughter almost hit him when he was in the road as a kitten. Picked him up and has had him ever since. He's about 3 years old. And has always been held like a baby belly to belly and face to face. He's been missing since Monday night, Tuesday. He would go out and come back. He's not returned. Checked the pound, our neighborhood, the nearby hotel where a lot of folks live and listed him on a missing cat website. Please, my granddaughter and daughter miss him very much! If you find him please let me know. Thank you! 🙏🫂🐈😢🌹💔

I lost my pet. What should I do?

Take advantage of online platforms – they help you get the word out, quickly and easily. You can report your lost pet to PawBoost in no time flat. We’ll send an email alert to our local members, post to the PawBoost-powered Facebook page for your area, add your pet to our lost & found, and make a lost pet flyer – all for free.

Other sites that help you raise local awareness for your lost pet with minimal time and effort are Nextdoor.com – a PawBoost partner – and Craigslist. Both of these sites have very active lost & found sections mainly used for lost pets. We highly recommend you use these resources in addition to PawBoost!

Visit your local shelters and animal control agencies in person. Details can get lost in translation over the phone and that might lead to missed connection.

If chipped, make sure your pet’s microchip is registered and up to date. If you don’t know your pet’s chip manufacturer or number, your vet should be able to help locate this information.

Put up flyers and tell your neighbors to be on the lookout. The more you engage the New Bern community, the better your chances of a happy reunion!
