Kink | $REWARD Male Cat

LOST PET ID: 71178935

San Diego, CA 92103

Kink escaped my rental unit while traveling, in the early AM on Sunday, January 12. He is 1 year old or less and un-neutered. He is completely unfamilar with the area. He lingered in the alleyway south of Robinson Ave near 10th under cars and seemed relatively calm but then wandered and we lost track of him. He has a Zorro / bandit black mask covering his upper face and eyes, with a tall white nose stripe, white ear hair, all black tail. He is mostly white on his lower areas and belly. He is very socialized with people and responds to the name Kink (he has a kink at the very end of his tail). This location is 1 strip of hses north of a ravine, and near Balboa park, so it's very possible he followed the scent of females or other cats into the park. Please call or text if you have any information. I am offering a $500 reward for return, information leading to successful recovery, or live capture.

Frequently Asked Questions

I lost my pet. What should I do?

Take advantage of online platforms – they help you get the word out, quickly and easily. You can report your lost pet to PawBoost in no time flat. We’ll send an email alert to our local members, post to the PawBoost-powered Facebook page for your area, add your pet to our lost & found, and make a lost pet flyer – all for free.

Other sites that help you raise local awareness for your lost pet with minimal time and effort are Nextdoor.com – a PawBoost partner – and Craigslist. Both of these sites have very active lost & found sections mainly used for lost pets. We highly recommend you use these resources in addition to PawBoost!

Visit your local shelters and animal control agencies in person. Details can get lost in translation over the phone and that might lead to missed connection.

If chipped, make sure your pet’s microchip is registered and up to date. If you don’t know your pet’s chip manufacturer or number, your vet should be able to help locate this information.

Put up flyers and tell your neighbors to be on the lookout. The more you engage the San Diego community, the better your chances of a happy reunion!
