Bug Female Dog
LOST PawBoost ID: 73014550
Olalla, WA 98359
Australian Cattle Dog / Red Heeler. White spot on head. Long hair for a Cattle Dog & a long fluffy tail. Bug is 15-1/2 yrs old. arthritic & slow. Has some neurological troubles with ger back legs. Slightly spacey off & on. cataracts both eyes but gets around well in familiar surroundings, hearing is pretty good. She is on liquid suspensions of Gabapentin twice daily & Meloxicam (Loxicom) once daily. Her medications are crucial for her comfort & mobility. Bug weighs 37-40 lbs. Weighed at vet about 2 weeks ago. She pushed open a gate I didn’t know was unlatched about 10am (Tuesday 6/16). I didn’t notice gate open for 15 minutes from last time I saw her walk by me. I looked around yard & cul de sac with my other dog. I dont think Bug could get very far from home, she walks slowly & she would tire quickly. But she is sometimes spacey & I fear she could lose her way. Bug hasnt been outside the property, except for vet visits, in at least 9 years. Neighborhood is wooded & lots of dense shrubbery. I’ve walked the area several times close to hse since her disappearance. My other dog didn't seem to give a clear indication of which direction Bug may have headed if/when she left the driveway.
