Thank you Leslie, U.S. Postal Service Team, St. Clair Shore residents, Macomb County Animal Control and Eastpointe Animal Control for an amazing job on helping us get Layla. Leslie (Mail Carrier) is truly an amazing person who stayed involved. She made post, fliers, went looking and enlisted the help of other mail carriers and individuals to aid in the safe return. She gave us recommendations on how to approach and even care after reuniting. I thank the many wonderful residents of St Clair Shores whom placed food and water for her while trying to catch her on the dog hot days of July. Due to everyones efforts we were able to get Layla back safe and sound after nearly 2 months. Thank you. It's such a great feeling to see that there are still many great people in the world to help out from the kindness of their heart.
