Wake County, NC Lost Female Dog, Waffles Is Missing

Connie Denise we do understand. She did have a bright blue tag on and is microchipped -- so even someone just finding a dog could (in theory) find us. We have plastered the space with flyers and brightly colored signs. In every neighborhood within 3 miles we had volunteers walking and every person they encountered knew about Waffles. We have even had pizza delivery places handing out flyers with delivery orders (and they have called for more flyers and been replenished a few times). Balynda did pick up a track that she said could be her but without any sighting of her since Tuesday 1/7 -- it is hard to know. We have cameras and a feeding station set up in the location Balynda suggested -- but still nothing.

This could be someone not on social media. So flyers and posters are needed all over.

Alison Hester Schwartz this breaks my heart. Was Balynda Search Dog able to pick up on her scent at all? I wonder if someone close by picked her up and they have her in their home? I would get flyers out house to house. Prayers she is found.

Connie Denise unfortunately she has not been sighted since 1/7 at 6 pm. Yes Balynda did come out and track. But so far we have not found her 😢

Jaylene Moss we have put on all neighborhoods on NextDoor, we have and do work with all area shelters. She is chipped and has a collar/tag on with our numbers.

Please post on the Nextdoor app. If not home in 2 days, GO check the surrounding animal shelters. They are not keeping pets for long because they are so full.🙏🙏
