Message from Owner

Our sweet boy, Shrimp, is missing. He is microchip and neutered. My significant other last saw him yesterday in the late morning. We live off West Hewett in SRB. Shrimp loves being outside and is somewhat familiar with the area, but he usually stays close to home. He is 10 years old and is normally ready to come inside well before dark. When he didn't come home last night, we became very worried and spent much of the night calling and searching for him. If anyone has seen Shrimp or has any information about his whereabouts, please let us know. We would greatly appreciate any help. We are staying hopeful, but at the same time trying to mentally prepare ourselves for what this may mean. Neither of us has slept, and our hearts are aching as we continue to search for him. Thank you!

Have you heard about the scent trail? Place your worn laundry, your shoes, your kitty’s blanket/linens on your porch, patio, lawn furniture and on your car. Tonight - late about 10pm with flashlight, shine in trees in case kitty was chased, look under cars, shrubs, sheds. Call kitty softly by name while walking in your area. Leave your large garage door cracked up enough for kitty to get in. Leave laundry in there too. Day or night sit on your porch and sing or talk. Indoor cats are scared and they hide up to 7 houses away in all directions. They usually come home about 2-5am. Someone recently set their alarm for 130am, looked in the garage first, then went outside calling their furry. The cat came right up to them. DO NOT put their litter box outside - draws other cats, even roaming dogs and predators. Your cat will smell that other animals dropped by and then run away. Hope Shrimp comes home soon.
