Sherlock Male Cat

LOST PawBoost ID: 73319542

Destin, FL 32541

Siamese teen. Not fully grown but not completely kitten anymore. He has very dark ears, eyes, and ombré on his tail. His balls are completely brown (he is fixed). Otherwise he has the typical toasted look of a Siamese, and some visible stripes you can make out in certain positions. He may be injured. I am worried he fell off the catio on our balcony as I see a hole in it. But he also could have just slipped out the hse. If you see him do not chase him as he is very cautious and may run. He responds to “num nums”, “good morning!”, and “come here boys!” He doesn’t know his name yet. His microchip will come up at Gino, not Sherlock because I recently adopted him. He doesn’t know either name yet. He may not trust those phrases above either because he is shy. Be calm, quiet, and watch his body language. He needs the human to be gentle and non threatening. He is probably very hungry so offering wet food would be amazing to draw him in.

Frequently Asked Questions

I lost my cat. What should I do?

Take advantage of online platforms – they help you get the word out, quickly and easily. You can report your lost cat to PawBoost in no time flat. We'll send an email alert to our local members, post to the PawBoost-powered Facebook page for your area, add your cat to our lost & found, and make a lost cat flyer – all for free.

Other sites that help you raise local awareness for your lost cat with minimal time and effort are Nextdoor.com – a PawBoost partner – and Craigslist. Both of these sites have very active lost & found sections mainly used for lost pets. We highly recommend you use these resources in addition to PawBoost!

Visit your local shelters and animal control agencies in person. Details can get lost in translation over the phone and that might lead to missed connection.

If chipped, make sure your cat's microchip is registered and up to date. If you don't know your pet's chip manufacturer or number, your vet should be able to help locate this information.

Put up flyers and tell your neighbors to be on the lookout. The more you engage the Santa Rosa Beach community, the better your chances of a happy reunion!
