Message from Owner

She was last seen on the island near the geese and across from the boat dock. She is a rescue. She is very timid and skittish of people but loves other animals. She has a chip and a tag with contact info

Randy Ramey yes that is her! She has stayed in the same area and been spotted several times. When I go out there, she hides from me 😩. She was a rescue that was abused her first few years so she is very mistrustful of people and very skittish. I have been collaborating with animal control who cannot get close enough to catch her either. We are trying. She loves other dogs so I’m hoping she goes up to someone with a dog but so far she has kept distance from all. Thank you for sharing that you have spotted her.

Give flyers to the local vet offices and mail carriers too!! Missing Animal Response Network has excellent advice on what to do when your pet goes missing. The section about NEON signs is a must but all of the tips will also help you in your efforts to find your pet. Try putting a large lost sign at the last place seen (someone else may have seen something). Also check on Craigslist under pets lost/found.
