Thank you for sharing! I had to create a FB account after many years but she is so precious to us. She escaped last night by accident. She snuck out and flew, and at a busy part of Montreal Est at that. We live on Maisonneuve Est, and she flew in back on the back street of Laforce which is connected to deLorimier. I was out last night all night. We have notified SPCA Montreal, Perroquet Secours, and PawBoost (these kind folks), and regularly checking Proanima. My wife is devastated by the lost as she had a special bond with Ianite (pronounced 'eye-a-night'). We're not losing hope but the nights and days are getting colder =(

You must remain on foot searching. Inform your neighbours. Put up posters. Spreading awareness is key. Play budgie flock calls from a Bluetooth speaker or your phone to get their attention. It will likely end up at someone's feeder in the area, and will have to learn how to survive from the local sparrows. If you have another budgie and a proper carrier, that would be the best way to lure back to you. Please exhaust all efforts.
