Put up posters everywhere, they really work and go door to door. Is kitty chipped? Call 311 to make a lost cat report and check at the SPCA and Bide Awhile. Good luck!

Tips - Borrowed from another: These tips have been proven time and time again to work, please take the time to do them, it all helps! And it's important to do them as soon as possible. Good luck! (Admin) 🗞 POSTERS/FLIERS HAVE PROVEN TO BE SUCCESSFUL AND YOU NEED TO START ASAP GOING DOOR TO DOOR AND HANDING THEM OUT! ***POSTERS, POSTERS, POSTERS ARE KEY!!!***** 🗣Go talk to your neighbors and surrounding areas and hand out posters. Talk to people on the street. You will be surprised at how helpful they will be! If no one is home, put the poster in the mailbox. Put posters on poles, vet offices, corner stores, grocery stores, etc. And check around restaurants and such where there may be a food source. 👚🍗Put a piece of clothing or blanket with the scent of the person he likes most with some food and water outside in a sheltered area. It is advised by experts to not use litterboxes any more as the scent also attracts predators and other cats which can actually keep your cat from returning. 🗣It is best to call for kitty late at night or early morning as they will usually hide during the day. 🔦Search low to the ground and under every nook and cranny or hole that a cat can climb in or get under. Chances are, your kitty may still be very close, they usually will not travel very far. Get a good bright flashlight! 🆘️ Ask your neighbors to check their sheds, baby barns and garages as soon as possible as kitty may have been locked inside. 🚪🪟Cats are very territorial, if possible, leave a window or door open. Many have returned and ran back in the house on their own. ☎️ Call your local vets to see if a cat matching this description has been brought in there & call the local SPCA and better yet, bring a picture in to those places. 🆘️Ask around for any "CAT PEOPLE" in your area...they know and see all concerning kitties! 🦞 If there are lobster traps in the area, please check them. There has been numerous cats trapped in those recently! ❤️🐾❤️Most importantly, DO NOT GIVE UP!!! THEY NEED YOU!!! ❤️🐾❤️ Some of these tips will help you find your indoor/outdoor kitty too 🙏🏻 I believe the SPCA rents live traps…

If this is an indoor only cat that never goes out, look close. Indoor only cats when lost get scared and hide because it is unknown territory and usually do not come out when you call. Usually are within 3 or 4 houses . Put out something with your scent such as a piece of clothing or blanket. Call at dusk, dawn and night and shake the treats. Get in your neighbour's yards and look under decks, sheds, in trees, bushes, in garages, under vehicles and hood or anywhere they can hide. Put up lots of posters. If you are searching at night, use a flashlight as their eyes glow in the dark. https://www.google.com/url?opi=89978449&q=https://www.youtube.com/watch%3Fv%3Dg2eCoC63B9I%26xstg%3DCAMSEBUJ_b-oH-PhF0yjBgb_zzE%253D&sa=U&sqi=2&ved=2ahUKEwjghPWRqr-XAxWsK1kFHSnQLYIQwqsBegQIDxAB&usg=AOvVaw271JAYSiGD2ZdZqADmEZOM

Put clothes with your scent outside, like dirty socks, and change them every day. Knock on every door in your neighborhood. Check sheds, garages and outbuildings. Don’t stop looking for him-walk around especially at dusk and at night and early morning. If he’s an outdoor cat he could be farther away Put up posters in your neighborhood When cats are outside they go into survival mode and won’t come to you. Years ago when we saw ours after a couple of weeks of going out looking every day, she ran from me. I got my husband to get a can of tuna to lure her out and it worked
