Robust Red-Crowned Parrot

Message from Finder

Could be wild, but not with a flock. Very well fed. Gorgeous bird. A little hesitant to come to people. Just thought I would post on the off-chance that someone was missing the parrot. Our caique is chirping back and forth with the bird.

You guys… these are all over. They come from Pasadena. That’s a Red Crowned Parrot. It’s not someone’s pet. Leave it alone.

That’s a Red-Crowned Amazon parrot. There are wild flocks of these parrots living in So California. I see them regularly.

Our Amazon parrot flew away on Sunday September 27rh around 6 pm doesn't fly much and doesn't know how to survive on his own. We got him when he was just a baby. If you see a parrot please reach out to me🙏

There are wild flocks of these Amazon Parrots all over Southern California..there is a flock of about 20 that come yearly to the stables where I board my horse in San Juan Capistrano. It could be from that flock too.

Rosemary Packard Awww. We found the parrot. He’s not ours. Just trying to get him/her home. Hopefully they’ll stick around during the storm.
