Message from Owner

My children and I are completely devastated especially my youngest who is autistic loves his cat so much was heartbroken yesterday to know his best friend was gone and missing and was missing for over 12 hours and it has been now over 24 hours since he has been missing since my boyfriend let him out after I left for work and he went out for a smoke. He went out the door behind him and when he hit, my boyfriend went back inside and went back to bed he got ready for work and remembered that the cat was outside and he said he couldn’t find him and he wasn’t about to go looking for him and he didn’t tell me that the cat was missing and until he got off of work and I was on my way home from work and he tells me if Calvin is home that’s his. He’s only six months old. I said no Calvin is should be home and I hope so and when I got home, I was looking around frantically and my kids were looking too and nowhere to be out and I was so heartbroken to know when he told me he let the cat out and never bothered to make it back in. Please help me find my cat. He is my ESA animal and my son’s animal as well. He belongs to everybody. We miss him so much, and this weather does not help anything.

Immediately (NOW)walk area shake treat bag or Bang on cat food can calling for your cat multiple times during the day-and-night especially when it's quiet out. Look under all bushes and in between houses. Ask your neighbors to check cameras garage, shed backyard. Post on nextdoor, get family & friends to search every day. Search at midnight-5am too call for ur kitten, listen for her meow

Check in bushes and under cars near your home, and on the next street over, especially in the evening with a flashlight, calling out to him and making a familiar sound. Ask neighbors if they might have seen him, and when they last did and which direction he headed if they have. If they have security cameras, video footage would help. Ask them if he might be trapped in their garage or shed. I hope he is found soon🙏🏻

General Information: Cats have a keen sense of smell. Set up a scent station. Hang clothes with your scent on it (Worn clothing from owner) high up outside so the familiar scent can travel and guide the cat back home. NO CAT BOX OR FOOD (as that attracts predators) . Ask your neighbors to check their yard/could be accidently stuck in their garage or shed. (If applicable) Check doorbell or home camera - or ask neighbors to check their camera. Post Fliers with a picture of the cat and your contact information in the area the cat went missing. Not everyone is on Social Media and posters have worked in that if spotted a location can be provided. If a cat is scared they make themselves safe by finding a good hiding spot and often times hide in silence. Look in bushes - bring a flashlight and look for shining eyes. Best time to find your cat is in the early morning hours when the noise level is low and they feel safe. Leave an access point open for the cat to return. This is important if they do come back in the middle of the night. Prayers your cat returns/ or is found safely. Beware of scammers.

Leave his litter box and bed/blanket in the garage with the garage door up just enough for him to get in. The one time our indoor kitty was out all night, she showed up in the garage the next morning.

Poor baby praying he returns safely. If he’s an indoor cat that gets out they usually stay nearby. Good luck finding your fur baby.

Is he fixed and indoor only? Does he have a way back in on his own
