Message from Finder

Around 10pm I was driving down gulf to bay heading towards Clearwater beach and drove past a chihuahua running on the road right before Lake Ave. by the time I was able to get to and locate it, he or she unfortunately was already hit and past. I couldn’t move her/him due to traffic. Located in a left hand turn lane near gulf to bay and yelvington.

Jeanette Windsor gulf to bay is a super busy road, not to make excuses but it could have been hit by a senior citizen or someone handicapped, we just don't know. I found out that this dog was being cared for by a friend because his owner passed and he just simply got away. Sad all around. I managed to get him out of the road and I scanned him for a chip then took him to veg where they took care of him respectfully. I like to imagine that he is with his owner in heaven.
