🐈⬛🏡 After a whole day missing, Cuddy returned home!!
💌Message from Cuddy’s owner:
“I had tried to take Cuddy out for some fresh air since he’s always in the house, but he’s very sensitive to loud noises, and usually he just sits under the chair in the car. But this time there was a noise that startled him, and it caused him to run into deep woods.
I tried to call for him and even went and bought a flashlight to look into the woods, but he did not want to show himself. So I looked online, and I went and got his favorite treats that he loves so much since it helps cats track the scent. But he still did not want to show himself, so I looked all night. I knew that he was actually scared because he was not making any noise when I would call for him.
I had left some treats before I went to work at the spot that he disappeared in. After work I went straight there to see if he ate them, and it turned out he did. He was not even that far because as soon as I called for him, he answered. I went back in the woods with his treat, and he came running.
PawBoost’s community was able to help with staying hopeful, and many people were actually sharing and caring. So I thank you all for all the prayers. I’m just glad that I found my baby safe and sound.”
🐾 Welcome home, Cuddy!! ❤️

🐈⬛🏡 After 8 days, Sully Slurpy was REUNITED with his family!!
💌Message from Sully Slurpy’s owner:
“One night, Sully Slurpy mysteriously went missing. He has a set routine and is very good at staying close to home and not approaching strangers. So it could be that he was carried away by someone, as he was found pretty far away in Menlo Park.
After 8 days, a good Samaritan, Kai, messaged us about him through PawBoost and sent photos as well as location. We immediately made our way over, and there he was, under the car, like Kai said he would be.
Sully Slurpy instantly knew our voices and was trotting with joy once he arrived at our hallway. He was hungry and thirsty, had lost some weight, and without his meds, his allergies were bad but he survived like a champ. We are so proud of him and blessed to have him safe again.
Thank you for every one that spread the word and kept an eye out. I appreciate it with all my heart. Our prayers were answered, thank you, God 🙏💗
Thank you so much to Kai, the person who spotted Sully Slurpy and messaged me right away his location, and we found him.”

🐶🏡 After a few hours, Daisy Violet was REUNITED!
💌Message from Daisy Violet’s owner:
“I went to visit my parents, and had to go out to buy some plates. When I got back to their house, I noticed Daisy was missing. I looked everywhere and, unfortunately, found her escape route. The neighbors said they had seen a tiny white dog run off about an hour earlier, and it hurt me to know she ran off the exact amount of time I was gone. I let no more time waste and got to looking right away.
We met so many wonderful people who were welcoming and willing to offer their help. But before I knew it, it was 11 pm. With all the pain in my heart, I had to head home and hope some good Samaritan found her and was keeping her warm.
She was missing for 6 hours, but it felt like a lifetime. When I was at home, I got a text from the most amazing woman. She heard loud barking and found Daisy outside talking to a German shepherd. The lady lured my sweet Daisy into her home. She was able to reach out to me via PawBoost.
Before the night could end, little Miss Daisy got home and immediately started chasing her cat siblings as if she didn’t give me the biggest heart attack in the world. PawBoost truly was there for me every step of the way. Giving me hope.
Thank you, PawBoost. You helped us in the past with our family chihuahua, Bruno, and here you are 10 years later, helping me find my chihuahua, Daisy. I can’t express my gratitude enough. Thank you to all those who shared and looked! 💕”

🐶🏡 After just a couple of hours, Freckles was REUNITED!!
💌Message from Freckles’s owner:
“I recently moved to a new house. I briefly let Freckles out ahead of me, banking on the fact that there is a fenced-in yard, not having realized that the gate had been left open. Within 5 minutes, I went out to join my baby boy, Freckles, to realize what had happened and that he was now missing. He is very good at staying right by me, but I guess with the move, he was determined to explore the new area.
In my panic, fear, and devastation, I yelled his name over and over again. Just as I sat down for a few moments, I saw this PawBoost email flash up in my notifications that this neighbor had found a dog with a number attached. I called the number in eager expectation, and as it turned out, she had found my boy, my Freckles. 🥰
I honestly didn't even know what PawBoost was - a friend had created it for me right after Freckles had gone missing, but PawBoost was exactly what reunited me with my baby! It was a wonderful surprise through which I got to meet an angel of a neighbor who had my baby boy.
Thank you A MILLION times over, Maureen!! (And to the few other neighbors whom I met and were helping and keeping their eyes out for him!!). Freckles is the only immediate family that I have, literally like a child to me, and my everything.”

💌Message from Timmy’s owner:
“Timmy has been with us since birth. He lives with his mother, Sue, and his brother Tonka. He’s always been an inside/outside cat, but was always the first to come home every night until he never came home at all.
We put up signs, searched everywhere we could imagine. A family found him about 30 miles away. They saw my post on PawBoost and sent us a message, and we were soon reunited with our missing baby. We could not believe he was found so far away!
PawBoost helped get the word out, and we found our missing family fur baby! Thank you to Hilary and her daughter for finding our Timmy!”

🐈⬛ 🏡 Piper is HOME after 4 days missing!!! 🎉
💌Message from Piper’s owner:
“We are unsure how Piper got out of the house, but we noticed because she didn’t greet us after work. She had never been outside, so she was probably terrified.
PawBoost was beneficial in our search. It prompted someone in my neighborhood to check their cameras, and they saw her on video, which let us know she was close by and just trying to find her way home. It gave me hope knowing other people were helping to look, and it gave us a look at her to know she was safe, but lost.”
We put treats, litter, and some of my worn clothes outside, and she found her way back!”

We posted Nami to PawBoost as lost. This lady, Amy, found Nami and reached out through PawBoost. She said that she had found Nami near Rimrock Lake.

🐢🏡 After 3 weeks, Butterbean and Cecil returned home!!
💌Message from Butterbean & Cecil’s owner:
“Butterbean and Cecil, my tortoises, went missing after I put them in a new habitat in my backyard.
After posting them on PawBoost, the local newspaper of Monticello, and spreading flyers I had made, I finally received a call from someone who saw my flyers and actually had the same African tortoises of their own. They were able to get my phone number from PawBoost and called me, letting me know that my tortoises were found. I was so happy I cried.

We had received some tips from locals due to the PawBoost flyers that we sent out. PawBoost helped spread awareness. Also, it gave us great suggestions, help, and advice, like flyering, which led to finding her. Thanks, PawBoost!

🏡 🐶The sweet pup was reunited after being missing for over 2 months. Thanks to an amazing community!
💌 Message from finder:
“I was in Oklahoma City for a conference. A stop at the Botanical Gardens led us to an older Chihuahua. He was obviously hot and distressed, and upon asking everyone in the park, it was apparent he was lost.
My husband and I took him to a vet to be scanned for a chip. The vet’s office said we could board him there for a few days until one of the animal agencies could come and get him. While there, I posted on PawBoost hoping for a miracle.
The next day, my husband walked back to the clinic and Ubered the pup to be fostered. Within a few hours of my husband transferring the dog, there was a comment from a woman on my PawBoost post saying the dog was hers. She then called me. She had lost the dog 2 months prior. She didn’t even live in Oklahoma City, but she had been there for a surgery, and while someone else was supposed to be watching the dog, he got lost.
Took one day to find the owner, after she had been searching for two months. PawBoost is my go-to, and in this case, it was a miracle worker!
Thanks to the OKC vet campus, Misty at OKC Angel fund, and Woodlake Animal Hospital.”

🐈⬛🏡 Louise is REUNITED with her family!!! 🎉
💌Message from Louise’s owner:
“The backdoor was unintentionally left ajar and before we realized it, Louise was able to get out and climb the fence into our neighbor’s yard.
One of the tips PawBoost mentioned in its article on finding lost cats, is enticing the pet’s sense of hearing by using the pet’s favorite toys outside. Louise’s favorite is a fishing wand with a worm at the end and a bell. I would play with the wand, hoping that she would hear the bell. I guess, she finally did because she appeared from the corner of the house and ran inside.
It was a sight to see, Louise back in the house. She was hot and thirsty and looked like she’s glad to be home. We are, too!!! Thanks, PawBoost for that great tip! I was impressed with the direct connection with Nextdoor and the pet matching program. PawBoost timely updates assured me that there are people helping me find Louise.
Thank you very much for all your support!!”

🐈⬛🏡 Cricket was missing for 26 days... He is now reunited with his family!
💌Message from Cricket’s owner:
“Cricket, aka "Baby", is an indoor-only cat. He is a lover, not a fighter, and not the best athlete. He loves to cuddle with the two dogs and other cats in our house. He got out through a small slit in a screened window while I was away after having surgery.
I posted to PawBoost and followed the advice of a community member, HappyCatLady, and purchased an outdoor camera, fixing it on a food bowl. I spotted him on the camera over several nights, but he would always run away before I could get to him, so I rented a trap from PHS.
We were able to successfully trap Cricket at 3 am after he was out for 26 days!!! I had to stay up all night, and there was a failed attempt at 1 am, but eventually we got him! He was very thin but happy to be back inside!
I don't know if I would have known that Cricket was nearby otherwise. He appeared on the camera exactly at dusk, as predicted by HappyCatLady!”

🏡 🐶The sweet dog was reunited after being missing for over 12 days. Thanks to an amazing community!
💌 Message from finder:
“We almost ran over this sweet little girl on our way to work. Multiple neighbors got involved, and we were able to corner the dog after 20 minutes of chasing her. We threw a towel over her and were able to scoop her up. It was amazing! So many people worked together to save this dog!
PawBoost was the reason we found her owners. They had posted a lost alert for her, and as I was scanning listings and found a photo that looked somewhat similar to the dog we had. I clicked “contact owner” on PawBoost, and it allowed me to text the owners directly. We sent some photos and FaceTimed, and then met the next day at a rescue. The owner was searching for 12 days, and we found the dog and reunited it with the owner within 12 hours.
Thank you so much to PawBoost and Lovejoy Foundation for helping us facilitate this reunion.”

🐕🦺🏡 Chopper was missing for 2 days. He is now safe and sound!! 🎉
💌Message from Chopper owner:
“It was dinner time for Chopper, so after I fed him, I let him go outside. But after about 30 minutes, I didn't see him come in. So I went to look outside and found that he was not there. My backyard is fenced and barricaded pretty well. But he is pretty small, so he must have squeezed through some small cracks, allowing him to roam free to chase after squirrels and listen to dogs barking.
PawBoost helped with posting my lost dog on Facebook and getting it onto bigger platforms. The online community gave me advice and ideas on how to locate him. One person commented about calling my local PD. They told me to look for him on the Animal Humane Society site for strays. Which I did and saw him listed there a day later. He has been found near Minneapolis and sent to the Animal Humane Society in Golden Valley. A BIG THANK YOU to the people who found him and took him there to be cared for!
Thanks to PawBoost and EVERYONE who shared/commented on the post along with the community to help with finding my dog! Couldn't have found him without you all! Thank you!!”

🐈⬛🏡 Murphy was missing for 5 days. He is now safe and sound!! 🎉
💌Message from Murphy’s owner:
“Murphy has three other cat siblings and two dogs. Our front door was accidentally left open just a smidge after walking our dogs. He must’ve snuck his paw through and pushed it open before running out.
We were walking the perimeter of our house because we saw his face peeking through the bushes in our backyard camera. We carried around a bowl of his food and eventually heard him meowing in the swamp area behind our house. We sat down, put the food in front of us, and he slowly inched his way back to us! Through PawBoost, I got a lot of helpful comments, giving me tips! Their users recommended I buy cameras and leave clothing out, and ultimately, those tips helped me bring Murphy back home.
PawBoost gave me the hope and confidence that I would find my cat again. It also connects you with other people who give very helpful advice and help spread the word around! Thank you, everyone, for your help and tips! Murphy is home safe and sound!”

💌Message from Armoni’s owner:
“We went on vacation for my son’s birthday, and I think that upset Armoni because he scratched his way out of the window where the air conditioner was placed. He opened the side panels and escaped.
He came home 3 days later. I was on my way upstairs to tuck my kids into bed when we heard him from the window. I quickly opened the front door, and to my excitement, there he was!! PawBoost helped by getting Armoni’s name out there. Pets are not just pets, they’re family! Armoni is my best friend. The amount of support I received from the PawBoost community was amazing.

🐈⬛🏡 After 17 days missing, Ninja was reunited with this family!!
💌Message from Ninja’s owner:
“We regularly take Ninja and his sister Mochi on walks in their harnesses. One day, we walked to the local park. I had their leashes joined by a carabiner. I attached the carabiner to my tote bag because I assumed it was heavy enough to keep them safe. Unfortunately, something spooked them, and they took off running away, dragging the tote bag. It got caught around the tire of a parked car, which resulted in them both leaping out of their harnesses. It all happened in a fraction of a second.
Mochi stayed under that same car, so I was able to retrieve her. A woman who witnessed what happened saw a black cat racing up the street toward our house. We tried, but couldn’t find him. Someone suggested PawBoost. I read the responses and advice from others who had lost their cats.
My daughters and I distributed fliers, and that’s what brought him home. The person who contacted me said they saw our fliers and immediately recognized that our cat was the new friendly cat visiting their yard. Reading advice and stories from others on PawBoost gave us the hope, inspiration, and motivation to keep searching (we looked many nights) and to put out fliers.
Thank you so much to everyone who offered advice or wrote about their experiences, that definitely gave us help and hope!!”

🏡 🐶 Miss Chanel, the found dog, was missing for over a month. She is now REUNITED with her family!!
💌 Message from finder:
“This dog showed up at an autobody shop. She was well-behaved and very friendly. She had a harness and a leash still attached to her. One of the employees at the shop took her to the vet to check for a microchip, but she didn’t have one, so they decided to take her home while searching for the owner. I put ads on PawBoost, Nextdoor, and Ring.
Exactly one month later, I still had the PawBoost post up, and I got a message from a lady saying, “Hey, that’s my friend’s dog. He’s been looking everywhere for her”. The owner of Miss Chanel came to the shop the next day, hoping to find her. It took a few days to choreograph, bringing the dog down and getting picked up, but Chanel was back with her owner and super happy to see him.
I really don’t know how long the owner was looking for her, but it took exactly one month from finding Chanel and returning her to her owner. Many other websites have posts that can get drowned out very easily. PawBoost post doesn’t go away unless you take it down. If the owner had only been relying on the other platform, he would’ve never been reunited with his dog.”

He was gone for about 36 hours. Timex’s dad went back to where it all happened and saw someone walking and asked if the gentleman had seen Timex. I posted on PawBoost, and people were giving me suggestions on what to do. One person suggested leaving an article of clothing where we last saw Snow. “I was pulling luggage out of the vehicle when I noticed a flash of a fluffy tail in the corner of my eye. Had to walk half a block around the corner as the dog didn't immediately come to my calls.
Once I was able to grab the dog, I checked for a collar (nothing) and gender (girl). I took her to my house and made a PawBoost post that I was able to share information on Nextdoor, and ultimately, it was where the owner discovered his dog's photo online. He messaged me through PawBoost. He lives right around the corner from our house and walks our street with his dog, who we found out is named Sue, and she is 14 years old. Cheers to the reunion!

“Cali got curious one morning and followed her two indoor-outdoor brothers to the backyard through the cat door. She managed to hop the neighbor’s fence and lord knows what happened next because she was nowhere to be found for 5 days.
After making flyers and dropping them off in my neighbors’ mailboxes, with no luck, I was slowly losing hope. I came into work, and my colleague suggested I check online at the shelters and see if anyone had brought her in. I couldn't believe that I had not thought about that option. I immediately researched all the places to post about her, and PawBoost was one of them. I cannot say for sure how she got found, but only a few hours later, a neighbor down the block spotted her and brought her to the Animal Care and Control Center.
PawBoost was quick to take action, and I know that they had a huge part in spreading the word about my missing Cali. I got hopeful and positive messages from warm-hearted people. The process to post to PawBoost was simple and quick. They checked in throughout the day and had cats that matched her description ready for me to view immediately.”

😺🏡 Zelda is REUNITED! She was missing for 36 hours.
💌Message from Zelda’s owner:
“Zelda fell from our second story window she was probably chasing birds. Despite their being blocks on the window she managed somehow to force it open.
After following suggestions received through the facebook post made through PawBoost we finally found her. We heard two cats fighting close to where we had emptied the hoover as recommended.
Not only were the tips helpful but the “flyer” created by PawBoost was perfect for printing and reposting on all social media. It was one of the tips that surely made the difference!
Thanks for the suggestions and for sharing!”
🐾 Welcome home, Zelda!! ❤️

😺🏡 Shammoo is safe and sound! After 2 very long weeks, he was reunited with his family!
💌Message from Shammoo’s owner:
“Shammoo is an indoor-outdoor cat. With that being said, Shammoo doesn't ever go far, he lounges on my shared porch and prowls the backyard. Greets neighbors and loves on kids, comes in like clockwork for breakfast, dinner, and most importantly when it's bedtime because he loves to snuggle my 5-year-old son.
So when he didn't come home for dinner, then breakfast, for two days, I panicked and started looking everywhere, posting everywhere. Even my neighbors and my apartment manager started looking daily (He's a lover).
Days turned to two weeks, our family was heartbroken. Then I got the notification...then an email Shammoo's post was going wild. A nice man had kept him on his porch, and posted him. The community started a network of every single person who had seen the post was working to get him home. We are so grateful!”
🐾 Welcome home, Shammoo!! ❤️

😺🏡 Kuzia was missing for a whole day. He is safe and reunited with his family!
💌Message from Kuzia’s owner:
“Kuzia got scared by the sound of the waves near the shore and ran into the bushes. He stayed hidden in the same area where he first went missing, which made it very hard to spot him in the thick brush.
It was a miracle – thanks to a kind lady walking along the shore who heard him meowing in the bushes, we were finally able to locate him. He had been in the same place the whole time. What also helped were his sleeping spot, his dry droppings, and even my unwashed socks with my scent that I left there. Without that lady, I might have searched for much longer in those ‘jungles’. PawBoost helped by spreading the word and giving me hope.
Thank you to everyone who responded and gave suggestions that supported me. In the end, it was truly a miracle that he was found!”

The super of the building called us when he saw him around. He had our number thanks to the flyers we hang around the neighborhood. Posting on PawBoost definitely helped mobilize the community.
Thank you for everyone's help and support. We found Papillon thanks to all our neighbors' attention and solidarity. We are very grateful for all the advice we received!”
