I was up around 4:00 this morning 9/4/26 checking social media, going through our cameras, and still looking for any sign of him. Then at 5:52 a.m., while I was watching one of the cameras, I suddenly saw Chandler run into our driveway. I couldn’t believe it. He was definitely in shock when he got home. For about the first 30 minutes, he barely acted like himself, and then he finally started wagging his tail and slowly coming back around. He was covered in foxtails, cactus spines, dirt, and who knows what else, so we’ve been grooming and cleaning him up ever since. We’re taking him in to get checked out and make sure everything is okay. Rosemary and Toni at Barkingham Palace were gracious enough to fit him in a little later today so they can help get him cleaned up even better. Thank you so much to everyone who shared his posts, drove around looking, checked cameras, kept an eye out, prayed for him, and helped us these past few days.
