Buncombe County, NC 28704

Update on the dog we found: I thought he was depressed because we weren’t his people…he wasn’t depressed, he was sick…really, really sick. He was damp and smelled like dog shampoo when we found him so we were certain he had a family. He declined rapidly overnight and in my car on the way to the shelter to get help this morning. He was loved the last two days of his life and didn’t die alone in a field somewhere, and I am thankful for that. His remains are on hold at the Buncombe County Shelter for 72 hours
