Hank Male Dog

REUNITED PawBoost ID: 73152189

Aspen Park, CO 80433

Hank - he's a white poodle with short haircut and curly tail still wearing a vivid purple harness with our phone numbers on it. Thank you! Keep the sightings coming please. Tammy and Diane 7/25 Day 9: Sighting 15. Hank was spotted sitting by the side of the road at about 8:45 pm near the Beaver Ranch entrance Newton Juvenile/1. This is where he jumped out of the car 7/17 after eating some poultry manure fertilizer earlier that morning in our backyard in Denver. A raccoon spread the fertilizer all over, and he ingested some. We think he had to poop urgently. 7/24 Day 8: Hank was sighted @10 pm crossing at 23858 Roman Nose Dr in Conifer Meadows, N of Foxton road and E of Newton Stromberg Picnic/3. We parked there the day he went missing. He's ranging wider than many folks think he can. Hank routinely runs 3 miles with us, as well as hiking. He's a buff boy :) and we think he may be eating somewhere. We've heard some folks have food out. Please check your cameras and let us know if you see him!! Given his expanded range, we're back to ask if you can please return to actively look for him with us, and If you can calmly offer high value treats like rotisserie chicken, hot dogs, liver treats, etc. Hank loves to eat his Ollie food, and has to let some human help him!! Good day today bolstering our scent stations in the Newtons atop the hill off the loop of Newton trail between Newton Juvenile/1 and Newton Commissioner's/2 and in Pine Beetle mitigation area near top of Pine Elfin, then it rained. We'll be back at it to leave more scent and hunt for him in the early am and thru the day. These sightings keep us so informed. Bless you all and thank you very much. 7/23, Day 7: Keep the sightings coming!! We are eternally grateful to all who've sighted him and contacted us. We wouldn't have progressed so much to know his range without you. Hank was sighted 3 times today!!!! He's still confirmed wearing his purple harness, no new locations. His hair is reportedly a little gray colored now. We're getting closer every sighting. Today we were minutes away every time. If you see him, please be very calm and try to keep your dogs calm. He's likely not going to approach dogs, since in fight or flight/panic mode. I think we've learned a lot about animals in distress. He's still running from barking or anxious dogs and anyone calling out to him. Per Brittanie, the dog mountain rescue expert, Hank has to come to us based on our scent, his sister Lizzy and his scent, and considers all humans and dogs a threat. We'll be back bright and early, since Hank is an early riser at home too. Thanks to all of you who've allowed us to enter your property. There have been many of you who've graciously done so, and we appreciate the access. You have an amazing community of helpful people in Conifer Meadows and along Foxton Rd, and the Denver Mtn. Parks folks. We've enjoyed getting to know so many of you so quickly. Until well. T&D 7/22 Great day today with sighting number 9 going into the Newtons in the 6 pm hour. Since we had a thunderstorm, and got badly needed rain, we thought his schedule might change. Glad the sun came out strongly after the storm, so he could possibly warm up in that wet harness. Hope you saw the big rainbow!! We'll get that off of him asap once he's found, and into a GPS tracker. Special thanks for Julia Corrin for her referral to Brittanie Dickerson at No Animal Left Behind. Brittanie has deep experience, spoke with us at length, and has made herself available until we reunite. She has already been greatly helpful. Tomorrow morning completes Day 6, and we are getting very close. Thanks again for all the sightings. We can't thank you enough for all your calls, good faith and concern. Our best to all of you. 7/21 We saw Hank!! climbing the ridge into his safe zone in the Newton Juvenile/Commissioners area last night at 9:15. Please don't look for him in the Newtons, because that can cause him to go further away. Please don't approach, follow, or call out to him. He is in survival mode and even looked a bit wild in the eyes. He still looks in good shape. We have scent stations and trail cameras with night vision watching scent stations and your reported locations he's returning to. Thank you for your concern and help. Please keep reporting sightings. They help greatly. Last seen 7/20 at sunset in area of Pine Elfin trail. He’s also been crossing Foxton multiple times to get into the Newton Park entrances. Please don’t yell his name- he’s spooked and bolting. If seen, please call us. We have a drone operator working all night at Newton Park and into Conifer Meadows using thermal imaging.if anyone can leave out water, that would be great. He may approach if you crouch or sit and offer food slowly. It may take awhile. Thank you to all the wonderful people of the Foxton Rd corridor and Conifer Meadows who have contacted us with five sightings total, and two today. We can’t thank you enough.
