Lexi Female Dog

LOST PawBoost ID: 72976694

Lexington, SC 29073

UPDATE!! Saturday morning,06/06, a young lady witnessed a small dachshund/Chihuahua in the road way between the library and the bowling alley on Augusta Rd. in Lexington. She said a very nice, older gentleman stopped traffic and was able to catch her. He said that he would look on Facebook to see if anyone was looking for the dog and he had dachshunds in the past. He put her in his truck, a dark blue or dark green older model Ford or GMC, maybe even a Chevy. It had tools and other stuff in the back with a cord hanging down dragging the road. He turned into the neighborhood on Stoneridge Dr. in Lexington. She described him as an older male, 70-80 years old with white hair. Approximately 5'10" around 200 lbs. I have not been able to locate this person or his truck. If you recognize who this could be or if you have any information regarding Lexi, please contact me. She is dearly missed and my heart is breaking. Please call!! Sandra (839) 246- 8349 Missing dog - Lexington, SC Ten year old reddish-brown miniature dachshund/Chihuahua with tan markings. Missing from Cedarcrest Drive in Lexington since last night, 06/05. Lexi is a senior dog and her eyes are a bit cloudy. I've been beside myself so, please contact me if you have any information about my sweet Lexi.

Frequently Asked Questions

I lost my dog. What should I do?

Take advantage of online platforms – they help you get the word out, quickly and easily. You can report your lost dog to PawBoost in no time flat. We'll send an email alert to our local members, post to the PawBoost-powered Facebook page for your area, add your dog to our lost & found, and make a lost dog flyer – all for free.

Other sites that help you raise local awareness for your lost dog with minimal time and effort are Nextdoor.com – a PawBoost partner – and Craigslist. Both of these sites have very active lost & found sections mainly used for lost pets. We highly recommend you use these resources in addition to PawBoost!

Visit your local shelters and animal control agencies in person. Details can get lost in translation over the phone and that might lead to missed connection.

If chipped, make sure your dog's microchip is registered and up to date. If you don't know your pet's chip manufacturer or number, your vet should be able to help locate this information.

Put up flyers and tell your neighbors to be on the lookout. The more you engage the Columbia community, the better your chances of a happy reunion!
