❤️ BROWNIE IS BACK HOME! ❤️🐈⬛ After 4 days and 7 hours of anxiety, fear, and so much hope, I finally found my baby! 😭❤️🙏🏻 Every night, I went back to Wilmot Gateway Park to look for him, but with no luck. Today, I returned with some new ideas to try to lure him out: using my urine to create a scent trail, setting up cameras, and placing an automatic feeder in the woods that plays my voice calling him, just like the one I use at home. I was setting everything up when I received a call from an unknown number. The person asked if I was looking for a missing cat and said they had spotted a black-and-white cat on the soccer field across from the park. In my desperation, I ran straight there and unexpectedly hung up without realizing I had no way to call that person back. 😭 I walked around the fields over and over, hoping for more news, but the phone never rang again. I decided to return to the park to grab some treats and try searching around the soccer field again. And then, what I had been wishing for finally happened! ✨ As I was walking with my headlamp on, I noticed two little blue dots glowing in the woods from a distance. At first, I thought they could be the eyes of any animal. I sat down on the grass and watched them. I called his name, but there was no response. Then I started shaking his treats and toys… And slowly, he began to come out of the woods. IT WAS MY BROWNIE! 😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️ I simply couldn’t believe it! After everything we had been through over the past few days, he was right there in front of me. He seemed to be doing really well. He wasn’t interested in the treats at all; he just wanted affection. ❤️ 🙏🏻 I want to thank every single person who helped search for him, shared his posts, kept an eye out, offered help, gave suggestions, and hoped he would make it home. Every message and every act of kindness made a difference during these incredibly difficult days. Above all, I thank God for allowing me to find my baby and bring him safely back home. ❤️ Brownie is home, safe and sound, with his family and his sister, Coffee! 🐈⬛🐈 NEVER LOSE HOPE! ❤️😭🙏🏻 Thank you all from the bottom of my heart! ❤️
