We are desperately trying to bring him home. There are also nearby businesses, including Family Dollar, Oceans, Metro, & Shipley's. We don't believe Gizmo would head toward those areas he tends to stay away from vehicles, but we are checking everywhere. areas he may have wandered: Eastland St, Hardman St, Pate Ave, Pate Park, or around A.M. Pate Elementary School. He may also be in nearby neighborhoods or side streets in Stop 6. He will come when called and may bark if someone approaches him, but he is not aggressive. Once he realizes you're friendly, he'll likely lay down expecting belly rubs. He is very spoiled, deeply loved, and definitely not an outside dog. If you see him and If possible, take a photo, location info, and contact us right away. Any sightings, info, or shares would mean so much to our family. We just want our boy back home safely. #LostDog #MissingDog #FortWorth #76119 #76105 #BringGizmoHome #LostPet #FortWorthTX

Frequently Asked Questions

I lost my dog. What should I do?

Take advantage of online platforms – they help you get the word out, quickly and easily. You can report your lost dog to PawBoost in no time flat. We'll send an email alert to our local members, post to the PawBoost-powered Facebook page for your area, add your dog to our lost & found, and make a lost dog flyer – all for free.

Other sites that help you raise local awareness for your lost dog with minimal time and effort are Nextdoor.com – a PawBoost partner – and Craigslist. Both of these sites have very active lost & found sections mainly used for lost pets. We highly recommend you use these resources in addition to PawBoost!

Visit your local shelters and animal control agencies in person. Details can get lost in translation over the phone and that might lead to missed connection.

If chipped, make sure your dog's microchip is registered and up to date. If you don't know your pet's chip manufacturer or number, your vet should be able to help locate this information.

Put up flyers and tell your neighbors to be on the lookout. The more you engage the Ft Worth community, the better your chances of a happy reunion!
