MY ODIN IS HOME. I don’t even know if I have the right words to explain how grateful I am right now. Yesterday was one of the longest, most heartbreaking days I’ve had in a very long time. I was exhausted, scared, and honestly scared for Odin. I just wanted my baby home. And today, he is. To Kurt… thank you from the absolute bottom of my heart for finding Odin hiding at the YMCA and getting him back to us. I don’t think you’ll ever fully understand what you did for me and my family. You brought a piece of our family back home. And to our entire community 😭 thank you. Every share, every person who drove around looking, checked their cameras, kept their eyes open, sent me a message, gave advice, or simply cared… I felt every bit of it. So many people who didn’t even know me cared about getting my boy home, and I will never forget that. My brother has already ordered Odin a new collar and an AirTag, having a silicone rubber ID tag made for him, and will be calling VCA since he’s already in their system to get information about having him microchipped. After yesterday, I’m taking every precaution I possibly can. Last night I was putting his blanket, his favorite toy, and my clothes outside just praying somehow he would find his way back to me. Today, my boy is home. I can finally breathe again. Thank you for caring about Odin like he was one of your own. Thank you for showing up for us when we needed it most. And thank you, Kurt, for bringing my baby home. I will carry this gratitude with me for a very long time. ❤️
