Gon Male Cat

LOST PawBoost ID: 73033534

Compton, CA 90221

He’s a short hair black cat with a small white spot on his chest and another white spot near his upper stomach area, he was lost on Jun 18 of 2023, originally lost at Compton although he’s from LA. It’s been over three years and should be about 6+ year old. He was never chipped or neutered. He meows very loudly and hates showers. He was a street cat but would return back home by the sound of his bowl hitting the floor multiple times or the sound of bells. Or if you would call him by his name “Gon”.

Frequently Asked Questions

I lost my cat. What should I do?

Take advantage of online platforms – they help you get the word out, quickly and easily. You can report your lost cat to PawBoost in no time flat. We'll send an email alert to our local members, post to the PawBoost-powered Facebook page for your area, add your cat to our lost & found, and make a lost cat flyer – all for free.

Other sites that help you raise local awareness for your lost cat with minimal time and effort are Nextdoor.com – a PawBoost partner – and Craigslist. Both of these sites have very active lost & found sections mainly used for lost pets. We highly recommend you use these resources in addition to PawBoost!

Visit your local shelters and animal control agencies in person. Details can get lost in translation over the phone and that might lead to missed connection.

If chipped, make sure your cat's microchip is registered and up to date. If you don't know your pet's chip manufacturer or number, your vet should be able to help locate this information.

Put up flyers and tell your neighbors to be on the lookout. The more you engage the Irvine community, the better your chances of a happy reunion!
