Update! Finn has been found! After 2 months of an adventure, we were able to capture him! But this was not possible without two angels who went above and beyond to reunite us. Despite posting Finn everywhere online I could think of (Next Door, Facebook, Pawboost, LostMyKitty, PetLove, Denton County Lost/Found), I walked the neighborhood late at night armed with a flashlight, a flyer and some cat food calling his name, I also went to the shelters and looked at their intake section every week. My friendly advice is to also get flyers made! I went to Office Depo and printed a bunch and plastered them along my street and nearby. This old school method is tried and true and worked! When searching for a lost baby, essentially, we are relying on folks to be on the lookout for our pet for us. My angels saw my flyer and immediately thought of a “new” black and white cat they had not seen before hanging around their hse recently. They took a picture of my flyer and reviewed their Ring footage. What do you know….!? A black and white cat with similar markings was seen stalking their porch at night! They immediately texted me (at 11:30 pm) with a video, and we lost our minds when we realized it was ACTUALLY him! My angels were also kind enough to give us their address and let us use their porch to set a trap. We ran over (five streets down) that night and set it up. Four nights (tries) later and Finn walked into the trap! Again, this is only possible because two very kind ladies went out of their way! Finn is a little upset/traumatized but I KNOW he is loving the AC! He went to the vet first thing this AM and he has fleas and ticks and lost half his body weight, but otherwise he’ll be okay. Thank you to all who offered kind words, great advice, shared my posts, and sent positive thoughts for him! I am grateful!
