Rueben Male Cat

LOST PawBoost ID: 73166398

Portland, OR 97211

Top side black, white underbelly and legs, black tail. He has a black mask like pattern on his face covering the entire top of his head including his eyes and ears. (With the tiniest spot of white on the top of his noggin) He's a very friendly and cuddly kitty when he wants to be, he was never aggressive or defensive with me or his younger sister. He loves tuna flavored temptations and canned tuna (and he doesn't like tubes). He's been wandering around in the northeast Portland (within a like 2 miles radius of my hse) area for over a year and is very familiar with his neighborhood, considering the fact that he know where and when to come home. He's not neutered and doesn't have a collar because he will consistently try to remove them, so no leashes (and if your trying to put him in a crate, take it slow especially because he doesn't know you.) He doesn't mind being inside but not for long period time.

Frequently Asked Questions

I lost my cat. What should I do?

Take advantage of online platforms – they help you get the word out, quickly and easily. You can report your lost cat to PawBoost in no time flat. We'll send an email alert to our local members, post to the PawBoost-powered Facebook page for your area, add your cat to our lost & found, and make a lost cat flyer – all for free.

Other sites that help you raise local awareness for your lost cat with minimal time and effort are Nextdoor.com – a PawBoost partner – and Craigslist. Both of these sites have very active lost & found sections mainly used for lost pets. We highly recommend you use these resources in addition to PawBoost!

Visit your local shelters and animal control agencies in person. Details can get lost in translation over the phone and that might lead to missed connection.

If chipped, make sure your cat's microchip is registered and up to date. If you don't know your pet's chip manufacturer or number, your vet should be able to help locate this information.

Put up flyers and tell your neighbors to be on the lookout. The more you engage the Portland community, the better your chances of a happy reunion!
