Rocky Male Dog

LOST PET ID: 70005084

Chesterfield County, VA 23832

All black Jack Russell/Chihuahua with white patch on chest. Very friendly, our 2nd time having to post him🙁 we got him back from the shelter last time after posting him and since they told us he’s not there already we’re hoping whoever has him turns him in after seeing this, he’s been with us for around 8 years just very stubborn on leaving the yard at times but comes back quick, he does not tolerate being or in his crate for long or just inside the hse in general he loves being out in the sun and with the cold days we have to force him in & he will cry ALL night not one minute of break literally. We moved a while ago he’s still not use to the new area I guess at our old hse he was more free outside we had a big yard that had woods in the back he’d wander off and come back. We felt bad that day and decided to leave him out a while of course but he got loose and hasn’t came back so we know someone has him as he would always come back as soon as we called.

Frequently Asked Questions

I lost my pet. What should I do?

Take advantage of online platforms – they help you get the word out, quickly and easily. You can report your lost pet to PawBoost in no time flat. We’ll send an email alert to our local members, post to the PawBoost-powered Facebook page for your area, add your pet to our lost & found, and make a lost pet flyer – all for free.

Other sites that help you raise local awareness for your lost pet with minimal time and effort are Nextdoor.com – a PawBoost partner – and Craigslist. Both of these sites have very active lost & found sections mainly used for lost pets. We highly recommend you use these resources in addition to PawBoost!

Visit your local shelters and animal control agencies in person. Details can get lost in translation over the phone and that might lead to missed connection.

If chipped, make sure your pet’s microchip is registered and up to date. If you don’t know your pet’s chip manufacturer or number, your vet should be able to help locate this information.

Put up flyers and tell your neighbors to be on the lookout. The more you engage the community, the better your chances of a happy reunion!
