San Diego, CA 92117

Breed: Russian Blue Cat. She responds to her name, Kaiya (pronounced Keye-uh). She has all gray fur, & greenish-yellow eyes. She's very small in size, was not wearing a collar & isn't microchipped. She's very friendly, extremely talkative, will happily sit on anyone's lap & purrrr for hours, under normal circumstances, but she's likely very scared right now.

Little Joe Female Cat

LOST PawBoost ID: 72804430

Oceanside, CA 92056

My 11-year-old female black cat has gone missing, and I have strong reason to believe one of my neighbors may have trapped her and relocated her to an area far from , preventing her from finding her way back. She’s a small build with striking yellow eyes and very distinct balding on her hind legs. While she’s not aggressive, she’s also not particularly outgoing with strangers, so she may not approach people. She is spayed and has been part of our family for years. Please, if you’ve seen her or have any information, contact me on this app, And if you could share this message with others across San Diego, it would mean the world to us—whether she’s nearby or in another area, we want to get the word out as far as possible to bring her. Thank you so much for your help!

Frequently Asked Questions

I lost my cat. What should I do?

Take advantage of online platforms – they help you get the word out, quickly and easily. You can report your lost cat to PawBoost in no time flat. We'll send an email alert to our local members, post to the PawBoost-powered Facebook page for your area, add your cat to our lost & found, and make a lost cat flyer – all for free.

Other sites that help you raise local awareness for your lost cat with minimal time and effort are Nextdoor.com – a PawBoost partner – and Craigslist. Both of these sites have very active lost & found sections mainly used for lost pets. We highly recommend you use these resources in addition to PawBoost!

Visit your local shelters and animal control agencies in person. Details can get lost in translation over the phone and that might lead to missed connection.

If chipped, make sure your cat's microchip is registered and up to date. If you don't know your pet's chip manufacturer or number, your vet should be able to help locate this information.

Put up flyers and tell your neighbors to be on the lookout. The more you engage the San Marcos community, the better your chances of a happy reunion!
