If you live nearby, please consider keeping small pets and children indoors at night. We have been informed that multiple people have had encounters with a coyote or coyotes who are highly resistant to hazing, even with large dogs present, around this section of Permanente creek. A very large number of pets have been going missing nearby, with several people finding the remains of dead pets.

Bugatti Female Cat

LOST PawBoost ID: 72044352

Emeryville, CA 94608

Black with a white 'Batman' symbol on her chest, and white fur in her pubic region. Today is Day 15 and we're still looking for our believed black cat Bugatti. Last seen on Christie Avenue between 63 and 64 streets in Emeryville. Between the rain and earthquakes, we think she may have wandered off farther. Some other leads include: - Bridgewood + Emeryville Artisan apmt parking lot, a few people have mentioned a black cat there but security hasn't allowed us to check. - Lake Merritt area near 14th until East 5th & 15th. - Near Urban Ore by the material building section We are offering a reward to whomever can help us be reunited with our precious girl.

Frequently Asked Questions

I lost my cat. What should I do?

Take advantage of online platforms – they help you get the word out, quickly and easily. You can report your lost cat to PawBoost in no time flat. We'll send an email alert to our local members, post to the PawBoost-powered Facebook page for your area, add your cat to our lost & found, and make a lost cat flyer – all for free.

Other sites that help you raise local awareness for your lost cat with minimal time and effort are Nextdoor.com – a PawBoost partner – and Craigslist. Both of these sites have very active lost & found sections mainly used for lost pets. We highly recommend you use these resources in addition to PawBoost!

Visit your local shelters and animal control agencies in person. Details can get lost in translation over the phone and that might lead to missed connection.

If chipped, make sure your cat's microchip is registered and up to date. If you don't know your pet's chip manufacturer or number, your vet should be able to help locate this information.

Put up flyers and tell your neighbors to be on the lookout. The more you engage the San Mateo community, the better your chances of a happy reunion!
