Taffy Female Dog

LOST PawBoost ID: 73091629

Watsonville, CA 95076

🚨 REWARD — MISSING CORGI, LIKELY TAKEN IN A VEHICLE — La Selva Beach / Aptos 🚨 Taffy, our tricolor corgi (black, tan, and white; white stripe up her face; ~22 lbs; microchipped) went missing from our yard near the La Selva Beach KOA on July 4 at 5:18 PM. Her GPS collar tells a clear story: at 5:18 she was in front of our hse. Within minutes she was moving at vehicle speed south on San Andreas Road, reaching Beach Street by 5:26. Her collar was then removed and thrown into a ditch. No dog moves that fast — someone picked her up. We are urgently looking for: Doorbell, dash, or security camera footage from San Andreas Rd or Beach St between 5:15 and 5:30 PM on July 4 Anyone who saw a car stopped near the KOA around 5:18, or someone lifting a corgi into a vehicle Sightings of a "new" corgi in someone's yard, home, or car — not just a loose dog She will likely have no collar or a different collar. If you see her, please don't chase — call/text [YOUR PHONE] with location, time, and direction. REWARD for her safe return or information that directly leads to her. No questions asked. Taffy is microchipped — any vet or shelter can scan her and confirm she's ours. Please share this post. She is deeply loved and we just want her home. Thank you.

Frequently Asked Questions

I lost my dog. What should I do?

Take advantage of online platforms – they help you get the word out, quickly and easily. You can report your lost dog to PawBoost in no time flat. We'll send an email alert to our local members, post to the PawBoost-powered Facebook page for your area, add your dog to our lost & found, and make a lost dog flyer – all for free.

Other sites that help you raise local awareness for your lost dog with minimal time and effort are Nextdoor.com – a PawBoost partner – and Craigslist. Both of these sites have very active lost & found sections mainly used for lost pets. We highly recommend you use these resources in addition to PawBoost!

Visit your local shelters and animal control agencies in person. Details can get lost in translation over the phone and that might lead to missed connection.

If chipped, make sure your dog's microchip is registered and up to date. If you don't know your pet's chip manufacturer or number, your vet should be able to help locate this information.

Put up flyers and tell your neighbors to be on the lookout. The more you engage the Santa Cruz community, the better your chances of a happy reunion!
