Reported 2 weeks ago

Pastina Female Cat

LOST PawBoost ID: 72960312

Dearborn, MI 48124

Solid dark gray female with medium-long hair, long fluffy tail and bright yellow eyes. Still has her claws, isn’t microchipped and is spayed. She is shy/reclusive but friendly. She will likely try to hide in bushes/garages in yards anywhere she can hide so please check your yards. Update Friday 6/5: STILL MISSING! We saw a cat in bushes by Outer Drive/Beech in someone’s backyard and it facially looked just like her but she snuck away. We set a trap and will check later. But it was reported that it looked like a gray cat was darting between bushes. Please keep checking garages and bushes in your yards within at least a mile of Monroe/Olmstead. We’ve gotten a few tip offs this week of sightings in off Gregory/Cass/Olmstead and in nearby alleys and we have jumped on them asap. Any help is HUGE!

Frequently Asked Questions

I lost my cat. What should I do?

Take advantage of online platforms – they help you get the word out, quickly and easily. You can report your lost cat to PawBoost in no time flat. We'll send an email alert to our local members, post to the PawBoost-powered Facebook page for your area, add your cat to our lost & found, and make a lost cat flyer – all for free.

Other sites that help you raise local awareness for your lost cat with minimal time and effort are Nextdoor.com – a PawBoost partner – and Craigslist. Both of these sites have very active lost & found sections mainly used for lost pets. We highly recommend you use these resources in addition to PawBoost!

Visit your local shelters and animal control agencies in person. Details can get lost in translation over the phone and that might lead to missed connection.

If chipped, make sure your cat's microchip is registered and up to date. If you don't know your pet's chip manufacturer or number, your vet should be able to help locate this information.

Put up flyers and tell your neighbors to be on the lookout. The more you engage the Southfield community, the better your chances of a happy reunion!
