Is This Your Black Cat? Hi neigbors, at 1:00 pm today 05/07/2026 we had an intact male black cat not wearing a collar approached my husband while he was on our front porch. The cat is very sweet, friendly, and vocal. We think the cat might belong to somebody, since he kept trying to go inside our hse. We gave him food and water and he ate some of the food and drank some water. Also, we took him to Newberg Animal Shelter to be scanned for a microchip and no microchip was found. I will be posting this on Pawboost and Lost & Found Pets Newberg-Dundee on Facebook as well. We already have three indoor cats, so we can't really keep him and two of our cats are mean. We let him out of our front porch which he stayed around for a few minutes and then he left. Cross streets are East 3rd St. and Doris Dr.
