Lost Female Cat last seen 5th floor of 615 Swann Ave, Alexandria, VA 22301

Reported 2 months ago, updated 2 months ago

Rose Female Cat

LOST PawBoost ID: 72757137

Alexandria, VA 22301

White with odd eyes (green and blue), on the smaller side. She is generally friendly but not social - she isn't entirely likely to come up to you without needing something. She enjoys hiding places, so watch out. She's an indoor cat mostly though so she won't have much experience if found outside.

Stella Female Cat

LOST PawBoost ID: 72719120

Ashburn, VA 20147

Gray and white with white paws. We believe she may have been attacked by another animal because we found half of her tail and her collar in some brush. We are not ruling out foul play as the collar was laying on the only rock in the area and the tail was about a foot away from it. She was clearly injured but we've been told that losing half of her tail would not necessarily be fatal. She's 15 years old and is very much missed by her family and our other cat.

Frequently Asked Questions

I lost my cat. What should I do?

Take advantage of online platforms – they help you get the word out, quickly and easily. You can report your lost cat to PawBoost in no time flat. We'll send an email alert to our local members, post to the PawBoost-powered Facebook page for your area, add your cat to our lost & found, and make a lost cat flyer – all for free.

Other sites that help you raise local awareness for your lost cat with minimal time and effort are Nextdoor.com – a PawBoost partner – and Craigslist. Both of these sites have very active lost & found sections mainly used for lost pets. We highly recommend you use these resources in addition to PawBoost!

Visit your local shelters and animal control agencies in person. Details can get lost in translation over the phone and that might lead to missed connection.

If chipped, make sure your cat's microchip is registered and up to date. If you don't know your pet's chip manufacturer or number, your vet should be able to help locate this information.

Put up flyers and tell your neighbors to be on the lookout. The more you engage the Arlington community, the better your chances of a happy reunion!
