“Lexie got out by an open gate that was left open by workers in my yard.
We immediately posted Lexie to PawBoost. Some other neighbors found her, picked her up, and kept her to find her home. They also posted her. A friend on Facebook saw the found post and alerted me to the picture. I responded to the finders with my number and address.
They saw my number and address, saying that the picture of the found dog in the road was my dog. They called me and brought her to me. It was a miracle, and prayers answered. She is warm, happy, and safe at home!!
Thank you to everyone. I'm so glad to have my baby back in my arms!! A special thank you to the neighbors and friends who helped bring Lexie home!

“My husband was mowing and had the gate to the fence open. I had run some errands, and on my return he asked me if I had spotted Coleman on the property. We live on 10 acres, and Coleman usually stays within sight. I had not seen him and figured he would be back in a few minutes as usual.
When he did not return, we became concerned and started looking for him. A storm came up, which stopped us from searching. I posted the info on PawBoost and prayed he was safe and would come back home. The next day, a neighbor told me about a found pet posted to PawBoost. Sure enough, it was Coleman, safe and sound.

“We still aren’t sure how Charlie got out, but we woke up, and he was gone from the yard, and the gate was open. It is possible someone set off a firework that night that spooked him while we were sleeping because it was just days before the 4th of July.
I had been checking the PawBoost website and the PawBoost Facebook pages all week. When I checked the page on the morning of July 10, I saw a picture of a found lab, and I knew immediately that it was Charlie. I connected with the finder via the PawBoost website and was able to pick him up within an hour.
Charlie was lost for 8 days, but fortunately he spent much of the time in the care of the finder, Gary. We appreciate the time and care that the gentleman gave to our dog.

“This sweet girl, Jay-Low, was found on the evening of July 4th. We were driving home and saw her standing by the curb in the road. We stopped the car and she let me pick her up to take her home.
We shared her information on multiple lost dog sites and the owner finally saw the post through PawBoost on Facebook. He messaged me through PawBoost and gave me his phone number to contact him.
It took us 2 days to find the owner. We had been searching since we found her, for 2 days. She has 3 puppies that are 7 weeks old and were missing her.
PawBoost was so helpful at sending the lost dog information to multiple different people and resources. I don’t have a Facebook account anymore, so if it wasn’t for PawBoost sharing to their page on Facebook, I don’t know if/when her family would’ve ever found her.

“I recently retired and came back to NJ for the summer. Pumpkin and I were camping along the Delaware River in my new Class B camper van. When I drove to Warren County to go shopping, Pumpkin snuck out at one of my stops. I realized he was gone about 10 minutes later & returned to the area, but poof! He was gone.

“We were at Grape Street Dog Park, and Molly went behind the bushes in the back of the park.
I went down the canyon and looked for her for an hour. Since I didn’t see her come back up, I went back to the park, and someone said they saw Molly near the gate, but she was already gone. I couldn’t find her at the park anymore.
Someone had found her and took her to the humane society, but didn’t announce on the park page or to the ranger. So I was on the lookout all day, posting, asking, and calling.
I posted to PawBoost, and someone commented on the post that they had seen a dog on the humane society’s page that matched her description. The humane society was closed early for an event, so I had to wait until the next morning to confirm if Molly was there. Turned out she was!!

“Chef was an indoor-outdoor cat in Palo Alto city. We had to move, and when we arrived in San Leandro, Chef could no longer be outside because we moved to an apartment on the 3rd floor. Chef became a little shy and always hid, so my brother wanted to take him out for a walk on a leash. There was a loud noise, and Chef got out of the leash, went through a big fence, and my brother couldn’t catch him.

He was at one house in the corner; he was so close to us the whole time, but he was not there during the day, just at night.

“Princess came up to me while I was on my front porch having coffee. I didn’t know where she came from, but she suddenly appeared and was very thirsty and tired. I thought she might have been a neighbor’s dog, so I spent the next 2.5 hours walking the neighborhood and driving her around, flagging down cars, talking to people walking, but no one had ever seen her before.
I got a call one morning from the owner who had been notified by a friend who was checking PawBoost daily for Princess. The friend loved Princess so much and had been heartbroken that she had gone missing. If it hadn’t been for PawBoost. I might never have found her owners. They were on the verge of giving up hope that she would be found safe and unharmed.
Princess was missing for 16 days, but it took less than 1 day to find the owner after posting to PawBoost.

“I had tried to take Cuddy out for some fresh air since he’s always in the house, but he’s very sensitive to loud noises, and usually he just sits under the chair in the car. But this time there was a noise that startled him, and it caused him to run into deep woods.
I tried to call for him and even went and bought a flashlight to look into the woods, but he did not want to show himself. So I looked online, and I went and got his favorite treats that he loves so much since it helps cats track the scent. But he still did not want to show himself, so I looked all night. I knew that he was actually scared because he was not making any noise when I would call for him.
I had left some treats before I went to work at the spot that he disappeared in. After work I went straight there to see if he ate them, and it turned out he did. He was not even that far because as soon as I called for him, he answered. I went back in the woods with his treat, and he came running.

“I went to visit my parents, and had to go out to buy some plates. When I got back to their house, I noticed Daisy was missing. I looked everywhere and, unfortunately, found her escape route. The neighbors said they had seen a tiny white dog run off about an hour earlier, and it hurt me to know she ran off the exact amount of time I was gone. I let no more time waste and got to looking right away.
We met so many wonderful people who were welcoming and willing to offer their help. But before I knew it, it was 11 pm. With all the pain in my heart, I had to head home and hope some good Samaritan found her and was keeping her warm.
She was missing for 6 hours, but it felt like a lifetime. When I was at home, I got a text from the most amazing woman. She heard loud barking and found Daisy outside talking to a German shepherd. The lady lured my sweet Daisy into her home. She was able to reach out to me via PawBoost.

In my panic, fear, and devastation, I yelled his name over and over again. Just as I sat down for a few moments, I saw this PawBoost email flash up in my notifications that this neighbor had found a dog with a number attached. I called the number in eager expectation, and as it turned out, she had found my boy, my Freckles. 🥰
I honestly didn't even know what PawBoost was - a friend had created it for me right after Freckles had gone missing, but PawBoost was exactly what reunited me with my baby! It was a wonderful surprise through which I got to meet an angel of a neighbor who had my baby boy.

“I was in Oklahoma City for a conference. A stop at the Botanical Gardens led us to an older Chihuahua. He was obviously hot and distressed, and upon asking everyone in the park, it was apparent he was lost.
My husband and I took him to a vet to be scanned for a chip. The vet’s office said we could board him there for a few days until one of the animal agencies could come and get him. While there, I posted on PawBoost hoping for a miracle.
The next day, my husband walked back to the clinic and Ubered the pup to be fostered. Within a few hours of my husband transferring the dog, there was a comment from a woman on my PawBoost post saying the dog was hers. She then called me. She had lost the dog 2 months prior. She didn’t even live in Oklahoma City, but she had been there for a surgery, and while someone else was supposed to be watching the dog, he got lost.
Took one day to find the owner, after she had been searching for two months. PawBoost is my go-to, and in this case, it was a miracle worker!

“The backdoor was unintentionally left ajar and before we realized it, Louise was able to get out and climb the fence into our neighbor’s yard.

Louise’s favorite is a fishing wand with a worm at the end and a bell. I would play with the wand, hoping that she would hear the bell. I guess, she finally did because she appeared from the corner of the house and ran inside.

“Cricket, aka "Baby", is an indoor-only cat. He is a lover, not a fighter, and not the best athlete. He loves to cuddle with the two dogs and other cats in our house. He got out through a small slit in a screened window while I was away after having surgery.
I posted to PawBoost and followed the advice of a community member, HappyCatLady, and purchased an outdoor camera, fixing it on a food bowl. I spotted him on the camera over several nights, but he would always run away before I could get to him, so I rented a trap from PHS.
We were able to successfully trap Cricket at 3 am after he was out for 26 days!!! I had to stay up all night, and there was a failed attempt at 1 am, but eventually we got him! He was very thin but happy to be back inside!
I don't know if I would have known that Cricket was nearby otherwise. He appeared on the camera exactly at dusk, as predicted by HappyCatLady!”
